The purpose of the Worship Ministry at Key Life Fellowship is to enhance the worship experience for all who attend. Music is one of the tools that God uses to bring our hearts and minds into alignment with His will and His purposes. We sing and play our instruments for His glory and His pleasure first. Our singing and playing should be an expression of our praise and worship to God and a way to model and inspire those in the congregation to do the same.
It is never about us, it’s all about Him.
"Worship and serve Him with your whole heart and with a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and understands and knows every plan and thought. If you seek Him, you will find Him.” —1 Chronicles 28:9
King David was a worshipper. He understood that our heart and mind work together to worship and serve the Lord. In the words above, David is giving instructions to his son Solomon on how to accomplish a great task, building the temple. This is where God’s presence would be known and experienced. We have a great task in building a Worship Ministry where God's presence is known and experienced. David's words to Solomon could also be applied to us today. So let's seek Him with our whole heart, focus on Him with a willing mind, and let Him be the center of all we do in the worship ministry.
