WORSHIP

Why We Gather..

Worship is at the heart of our life together. It’s not limited to music or merely an event on Sunday, but the way we live before God all week long.

We gather to honor God for who He is, to hear His Word, to join the fellowship of believers in worship, and to respond in faith. We aim to glorify God and edify the church.

Worship Through Music

At Key Life Fellowship, we believe the truth of God’s Word should shape the songs we sing. Our goal is not simply to create an emotional experience, but to fill hearts and minds with Scripture so that what we sing on Sunday saturates the truths we sing throughout the week. We seek to choose songs, whether traditional hymns, modern worship, or simple acapella moments, that are rich in biblical truth and theological depth.

Congregational singing is central to our worship. We are not spectators watching others lead; we are participants together, lifting one voice to the Lord in praise and gratitude.

Our worship band and praise team exist to serve the church by helping guide our voices, not replace them. Team positions rotate regularly, allowing many within our fellowship to use their God-given gifts to glorify Christ and serve His people. Through this shared participation, we remind one another that worship through music is for the whole body of believers (not just to those on the platform.)

The Word and Preaching

At Key Life Fellowship, we believe the Bible is the God breathed, living and active Word of God - true, sufficient, and powerful (2 Timothy 3:16–17). We delight in His Word, as the psalmist says, “Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors” (Psalm 119:24).

Preaching here is expository. We teach Scripture in order and in context, seeking to explain what God has said and how it applies to our lives. Every sermon points to Christ and centers on the gospel, “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).

Our pastor preaches the truth without adding to or taking away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2), trusting God’s Word to strengthen, convict, and build up His people.
